Please attend our annual meeting in the library’s Marvin BC or attend by Zoom. We need a well-attended annual meeting as we need a quorum to elect the nominees and adopt the budget. It’s the opportune time for you to participate and give direction to the Board for the upcoming year.

You are welcome to purchase lunch from the Millennium Cafe and bring it into the meeting room. If you purchase lunch, we recommend you arrive at 11:15 a.m.

The League of Women Voters Topeka Shawnee County encourages sustainable practices and advocates for policies that protect our planet for future generations.

The League of Women Voters has two separate and distinct roles:

  • Voters Services/Citizen Education: We present unbiased nonpartisan information about elections, the voting process and issues.

  • Action/Advocacy: We are also nonpartisan; but after study we use our positions to advocate for or against particular policies in the public interest.
